Praised for their evocative performances and intense musical chemistry, the Stanton Street Duo attracts a diverse range of audiences. Their electrifying renditions of traditional and contemporary tango music make for dynamic and unique experiences that connect listeners to a reimagined setting of the style. Their pioneering approach has led to the creation of their own original works and newly commissioned pieces for this distinctive instrumental combination.
Duo members Berto and Tatiana both studied Classical Guitar Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Based in San Francisco, the duo formed in 2021 alongside the birth of their daughter, the same year in which Berto discovered the chromatic harmonica. Since participating as finalists in the CAG Elmaleh Competition in NYC, the duo has performed throughout the USA and Mexico.
