Vocalist and songwriter Gabrielle Stravelli blends musical traditions with a modern, genre-bending sensibility. Her tremendous swing feel and gift for lyric interpretation have led to a career defined by joyful performances and a deep connection with audiences, and have made her a mainstay of the NYC jazz scene. Unexpected, highly individual choices are her trademark.
The Book & Blanket Players have been producing youth musicals-in-a-week summer theatre for 16 years in Keene Valley. This year the theatrical adventure continues with Anastasia: the Musical.
We are pleased to continue our annual tradition of presenting the amazing young musicians from the famed Meadowmount School of Music. It seems that every year these emerging artists present a performance even more beautiful and impressive than the previous year!
Over the course of her twenty five year career, Susan Werner has earned a reputation as “one of the most innovative songwriters working today” (Chicago Tribune). With formidable chops on guitar (she began playing at age 5) and piano (she was a guest on Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz), along with a graduate degree in voice performance, her shows are a one-woman master class in musicianship.
Praised for their evocative performances and intense musical chemistry, the Stanton Street Duo attracts a diverse range of audiences. Their electrifying renditions of traditional and contemporary tango music make for dynamic and unique experiences that connect listeners to a reimagined setting of the style. Their pioneering approach has led to the creation of their own original works and newly commissioned pieces for this distinctive instrumental combination.
East Branch Friends of the Arts continues with our annual presentation of the Seagle Festival in Keene Valley. This year the wonderful singers of Seagle are presenting Life is Happiness Indeed-the music of Leonard Bernstein.

East Branch Friends of the Arts continues with our annual presentation of the Seagle Festival in Keene Valley. This year the wonderful singers of Seagle are presenting a revue of the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Please note the date of September 7; this year we are presenting the Festival one week after Labor Day weekend!

The Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir (PSGC) was organized in 1991 by students and has constantly emphasized the breadth and depth of gospel music in order to expose both SUNY Plattsburgh and the North Country to this uniquely American genre.
