EBFA UPCOMING EVENTS
On October 7, EBFA is excited to present the world class guitarist William Kanengiser, including the premier performance of "Beyond the Horizon" by Matthew Dunne. Suggested donation $20, $10 for EBFA members.
Recognized as one of America’s finest classical guitarists, William Kanengiser won First Prize in the 1987 Concert Artists Guild International Competition as well as major guitar competitions in Toronto (1981) and Paris (1983). He has recorded several solo CDs for the GSP label, ranging from classical to jazz to Caribbean to Near Eastern styles, and as a founding member of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, has recorded over a dozen major label CDs, including the 2004 Grammy winning “LAGQ Guitar Heroes”. He has toured extensively throughout Asia, Europe, and the Americas, and has appeared at virtually every leading guitar festival world-wide. He has received rave reviews from the press world-wide. The LA Times wrote “Kanengiser has an amazing talent for creating delicately honed, lucid phrases from technically difficult passages. With dizzying execution and alacrity, he nonchalantly kept matters under control, giving the music exceeding vitality and warmth”. For more info, visit https://www.kanengiser.com/
